Montanwerke Brixlegg AG is Austria’s only copper producer and has a history stretching back more than 500 years. Today Montanwerke is one of the leading secondary smelters in Europe.

Core business is recycling copper and other precious metals from scrap and in further steps process it into cathodes and billets. For these two highly pure copper products the total output is over 200’000 tons per year.
